ROKO APP is a cloud-based SaaS platform that enables businesses to offer collaborative music playback through QR codes. Users can search for publicly available music videos and add songs to a shared playback queue.
Playback is delivered using the official YouTube Embedded Player, which streams audio and video content directly from YouTube servers.
This application uses YouTube API Services.
ROKO APP uses the official YouTube Data API v3 exclusively to search publicly available video metadata required for music discovery inside public venues. We do not use this service for any purpose other than supporting the shared playback queue.
ROKO may process the following information when you use the search feature:
- Search terms entered by users
Public metadata returned by the YouTube Data API, including:
- Video title
- Channel name
- Video ID
- Thumbnail
- Duration
- Public video URL
This information is used only to display search results and to manage the shared playback queue in the venue you are visiting.
ROKO APP does NOT:
- Access Google accounts
- Access YouTube subscriptions
- Access YouTube playlists
- Access watch history
- Access private videos
- Access Gmail
- Request OAuth permissions
- Collect Google credentials
- Collect YouTube passwords
Users never log into YouTube through ROKO. No YouTube authentication, password, or OAuth consent is ever requested.
Search results may be temporarily cached to improve application performance and reduce unnecessary YouTube Data API requests.
Cached information contains only publicly available metadata.No personal information is stored inside the cache.
Cache entries may expire automatically according to system optimization policies.
ROKO APP uses cookies and equivalent browser storage only for authentication and application preferences. These are used solely to maintain secure sessions and improve the user experience.
ROKO APP does not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies.
ROKO APP integrates with the following third-party services:
- YouTube Data API v3
- YouTube Embedded Player
Cloud infrastructure, including authentication and application data storage, is provided by Supabase. ROKO APP does not receive or claim any user information shared directly by Google beyond the public video metadata returned through the YouTube Data API.
